Weimar and Amazing Facts Move Forward as Separate Ministries

Weimar and Amazing Facts Move Forward as Separate Ministries

On Sunday, August 7, 2011, the boards of Weimar Center of Health & Education and Amazing Facts formally completed the process of making the two organizations separate entities again. Doug Batchelor will continue to serve as President of Amazing Facts and Neil Nedley as President of Weimar Center for Health & Education.

In April 2008, Amazing Facts entered into a cooperative agreement with Weimar Center of Health & Education. Weimar Center has been reinvigorated as the two ministries have worked together over the last three years and has experienced significant growth in all aspects of its ministry. Amazing Facts has also prospered during this time.

Due to the recovery and success of Weimar, on April 3, 2011, the Amazing Facts and Weimar boards voted to hold discussions over the next few months with the aim of making the organizations separate again, while maintaining a supportive and cooperative relationship in areas such as the Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism (AFCOE), Amazing Facts TV (AFTV) and public seminars. This process was completed on August 7, 2011. The change of relationship will allow both ministries to concentrate on fully developing their respective areas of mission.

Dr. Nedley expressed his heartfelt thanks for the support of the leadership and donors of Amazing Facts. He said, “Without this support, Weimar would most certainly not have been resurrected. Though our ministries are now separate at the board level, we remain united in the mission of reaching a lost world with the three angels’ messages.”

Elder Jim Pedersen, Northern California Conference president and chairperson for the combined Weimar Center and Amazing Facts boards stated, “I look forward to seeing Amazing Facts and Weimar continue to minister to people through a variety of ways on behalf of the Kingdom of God. I am convinced that we will see more great things from these two ministries.”
