Update on Planned Weimar College Nursing Program
As many know, Weimar College has been in a process toward developing an Associate Degree Nursing program (ADN). We are very grateful for the prayers in behalf of this important project. Recently, the project came through an important step, showing how our proposed program met some initial criteria in a very involved process. We are moving on to the next steps, although we do have some additional challenges to face. Continued prayer is requested. On June 15th our proposal will be submitted to the full administrative board of registered nursing (BRN). Beyond that, there are still additional and important steps in the approval process. Weimar College and the director of the pre-nursing program are asking for your prayers that the BRN will continue to approve our plans for a nursing program at Weimar College. As you pray, please lift up our need of acute care clinical sites in pediatrics and obstetrics and for the process to go smoothly. We want God’s name to be glorified in the development of a quality program for the education of nurses; we want a program that will develop well-educated nurses with a deep understanding of natural remedies and a heart for evangelism.
